Simple answer would this be have 1 drink a week if you need to (social purposes etc), stick to vodka lime soda for obvious reasons - low calories, no sugar. Finally, don't buy alcohol and store it at home. Just go out have a drink, socialise, come home get back to work.
I've been using a food scale for 4 years. The autist in my LOVES it. Not only does it keep my quantities sane, it also shuts up the inner saboteur who likes to harangue me that I haven't eaten enough and should eat more. Win-Win!
Any opinion on meal replacement?
For example, something like soylent or Huel.
I would never suggest soylent to anyone tbh. A whey protein shake will work
Thoughts on alchohol? And how to fit in with getting fit etc

Track the calories, stick to liquor over beer, moderation or at least not frequent

Can you help me understand where you said divide raw amount of meat by cooked amount for accurate serving size?
16 oz raw chicken is 13 oz cooked. 16/13 is 1.23 ?
think about it like this. - you're comparing ratios.
if 16oz raw has 4 servings, then 13oz cooked also has 4 servings - but the weight of those servings change.
4/16oz * 4/13oz = 52/64 = 0.8125. Therefore 10g raw = 8.125g cooked. hope this helps
Yes it does, thanks
