It seems I have earned the role of “Creami Recipe Guy”, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do, list all of the delicious recipes we have come up with so far.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m talking about the best invention of the 21st Century, called the Ninja Creami which can turn just about anything into ice cream.
Why am I talking about this? Because this means you can make low calorie, high protein ice cream that actually tastes amazing.
This invention has been completely game changing because it allows some really good flavor and variety in your life, especially if you have a giant sweet tooth, while actually having better macros than most meals. I cannot overstate how much easier this has made dieting & cutting down to a very lean physique—this is one of those few things that are a true “hack”.
The one downside is you have to plan in advance and freeze them initially for 12-24 hours, and I only have 1 of these a day, so I haven’t been able to try every combination I can think of. With that said, I have 7 different recipes I have tried and absolutely loved so we are going to share those today.
I will keep updating this post periodically as I keep experimenting so hopefully within the next few months we have dozens of creative creations.
Before we get started, if you’re one of the people who cries anytime someone talks about artificial sweeteners or carbs then this post is not for you, I have something cool about Bulking and Cutting + a program with
coming out in the future that might be more your speed.Alas, I’ll shut up and give you what you actually want.
Preparation
First you’ll gather all the necessary ingredients to make your perfect Creami creation. (Will list out assorted ingredients below).
Next, in a decent sized mixing bowl, mix everything together. Then add to your Creami container (should be filled to the “freeze” line).
This next part is crucial. I mean extremely important, must follow for best results! Freeze it for 12-24 hours prior to blending so that you can get the right consistency. (I have tried freezing it for less time and the Creami turned out “OK” but it was not the best texture. Ergo, if you are impatient, like I was in the beginning, you can try this too. Just be warned that you won’t be getting the best quality by rushing the process)!
It’s worth mentioning that the Creami comes with a booklet explaining all the different settings based on what kind of consistency you are shooting for.
I find taking the container out 5-10 minutes prior to blending makes it easier on the Creami (and makes smoothing out the top a bit easier - which is necessary so you don’t destroy the Creami paddle (read: look up “broke my creami” on Reddit)).
I typically place my container into the Creami, press the power button, turn the dial to “Light Ice Cream” and let it blend (“Milkshake” is really good as well). (This setting takes about 4 minutes to process), and then bam you have a delicious, high-protein ice cream blended to perfection.

Side Notes
This is not a strict guideline you need to follow to have a delicious Creami. You can add whatever you want, and use whatever ingredients you prefer. If you want the regular instant pudding packets over the sugar free ones, use those! If you want to use more milk and less yogurt, you absolutely can.
You don’t even have to use yogurt if you prefer cottage cheese (some people do). These recipes are just here to help get you started in making your own creations. (And because so many people kept asking me for the “best recipes”).
It’s also worth noting that adding things like a small handful of chocolate chips or a little bit of whip cream to the top isn’t going to add an insane amount of calories. I just wouldn’t go overboard if you have specific caloric goals.
It all depends on your goals after all. If you want to lean out, don’t add tons of extra stuff. Use the sugar free and fat free options to make it less calories. If you plan to use this to bulk, get super creative with extra toppings. If you’ve been reading long enough, you know the drill by now!
(And if you’re new here, here’s a post that can help with diet flexibility).
Fin
As I said earlier, I’m going to keep adding to this periodically and reposting it on social media so we can keep exploring the universe of healthy ice cream together.
Please, if you have any good recipes of your own, comment them below and I will try them. If I like them I will add them to the recipe list and you can claim micro niche internet fame by being featured (I kid, but seriously let me know what you got).
In the future I’ll be on a bulk so I will definitely be adding some higher calorie recipes to help those of you out that struggle with eating enough food. Also, side note on that, these actually are more filling and satiating than you might think. After I have one, even though it might only be 500-700 calories, I’m really not hungry for a decent amount of time.
Anyway, enjoy your protein ice cream and get those gainz!
