Protein from grass fed ruminant meat, their organs, ruminant broths and shell fish. Goats milk, eggs and fermented foods. White rice, white potatoes and seasonal fruits.
Keto carried me a long way, but 2 years in and over 200 lbs lighter, I'm starting to wonder if it was "keto" so much as it was just not eating so much terrible shit; shit that has been promoted and taught to be normal to eat since childhood. This whole recent covid/political climate has really made me consider just how much and how often I have been lied to on so many levels.

Solid post. I'd advise reading Deep Nutrition and Nourishing Traditions for anyone who wants a decent understanding of nutrition.
A few other things to consider when designing your diet:
- Eat organ meats. Liver is great. I chop it up, freeze it, and toss it in protein shakes. Can't even tell it's there.
- Eat fermented foods like kefir and sauerkraut for gut/brain health.
- Cook meat low and slow with the bone; do not overcook.
- Bread: sprouted grain bread is best. Then, sourdough.
- Milk: get it raw if at all possible.
I am at 70 % of Deep Nutrition. Great book!
My take aways:
-I started to drink raw milk
-Slow cook organs (liver I like it fried on ghee with rosemary leaves)
-Eat organ meets 2-3X during the week
-I make beef bone broth slow cooked 24H on my Instapot.
Eat right and healthy and WAGMI.

How do you fry eggs or prepare omelette if you don’t use oil?
What about avocado oil for cooking and olive oil as salad dressing?
