Over the past 18 months, I've gone from 240 lbs -> 170 and I recently subscribed here as part of an effort to take it to the next level and finally see those abs. I feel and look a million percent better than I did when obese and I'm excited about getting down to the 12% range. I'm at 19% right now.
If one is young and needs to go drinking from time to time with friends to keep up with social life. Any ways to protect the gainz. Besides avoiding beer and sweet mixers
not ox obviously but i just tried to find a go-to drink that's low cal and low sugar. I settled on vodka soda with lime and a cherry. tastes good enough and i can drink like 5 on a rowdy night without getting too many excess calories. The biggest hurdle IMO is avoiding that late night drunk/out at a bar food. It's usually pizza or fried food and if you can just say no to that and drink low cal stuff you can really minimize the damage. You can't entirely avoid it since alcohol wrecks sleep among other things, but this has worked for me even when going out 2-3 nights a week.
was playing some basketball yesterday, been doing your workouts for a little bit over a month now. decided to see how high I can get up since I was feeling bouncy, dunked for the first time in three years. I actually feel like the fat is starting to melt off me since I started tracking my macros and really focusing on the 6-9, 12-15 ranges in your PPL routine. anyways, excited to keep on grinding at it. currently at like 229lbs, working on getting that down to 215 before the summer
Ox, great write up as always mate.. quick question, as I´m still fighting to get below 18%, how often (months or years) should I change programs (have been doing your 3 x week U/L Split since Dec 2021)??

Not telling u to drink what i do, but find what YOU think tastes good and isn't loaded with sugar/cals. Took me awhile but now it's my go to.

I accept this challenge
From today 13th April, will report back on 10/10
gonna follow Upper/Lower Program, cardio 6 days a week
quick question, college + working on wifi money, I barely get 6 hours of sleep as working late at night
Is that gonna be a problem?

I am wondering what age plays a role. To get a 6 pack is difficult the older you are. So where is the age limit where it is not possible anymore?
Starting my journey today!
