I've been lifting for a year now for the first time in my life at 26. I was always really skinny. I thought I was taking it seriously and learning a lot on my own, but in the last couple months since finding your work it feels like I am just beginning the real fitness journey. This substack is some seriously dialed in next level shit. Feels like I have a world class coach in my inbox.
Great article, going to end the permabulk mindset, get lean, and grow again from there the right way!
I'm at 14.2% BF as per my DEXA scan. Been lifting for about 7 months now and have put on 10 lbs since i started. Definitely not as big as I want to be yet but would you recommend bulking a bit more till I hit 16-17% BF or should I cut first and then re bulk
Great post man, definitely huge parallels between both that make a lot of sense in my head.
On point.

what is the most accurate way to calculate BF% at home?
Mirror, Google “estimated body fat chart” and roughly compare
