The time is here, we are *finally* ready to announce the winners of the 2nd Annual 90-Day Transformation Challenge.
First off, sorry for the wait, but it was necessary. We spent dozens—maybe even a hundred—hours going through every single entry line by line, side by side, making note of every small detail.
We even had to buy a TV for the office to be able to get a better look and more eyes on the before and after pictures:
The challenge and criteria was pretty simple and clear:
You had 90 days to make the biggest physique transformation you could, be a paid subscriber, and the winner wins $5000 (2-5th also get their own cash prizes).
This year, you were given a 12-week program, the Push Pull Legs Program, as a roadmap if you will for those who wanted to follow along a clear-cut blueprint laid out for them.
I supplied the information, the “answers to the test” if you will, all you had to do was the hard part—execute on the information and advice and make it happen.
Many of you did!
Before we announce the top 5 and some other honorable mentions, I have to say, of the hundreds that submitted their progress, the results were amazing. Sure, someone gets $5000, but what you need to realize if that isn’t you is that by taking your health and fitness to a new level, you’ve done something you cannot put a price on.
I hate having to choose a winner because all of you who put in the work and made it happen are winners in your own respect.
It is for that reason all participants who submitted a before and after entry will be getting an email from me so we can do a consultation of sorts to see what issues you may have, what questions, and where you want to take your body to next.
I am going to get back to all of you and give you the answers and guidance to help get you to where it is you want to go—that is the consolation prize for anyone who completed this.
Now, I am not one for participation trophies so 5 of you will be named as having the most profound physique transformations.
It doesn’t matter who you are, if I know you or not, if you are a fellow BowTied or whatever, you were simply judged objectively on the progress you made—my eyes were not the only eyes, people who don’t even use Twitter had a say in selecting the winners to keep this fair.
Disclaimer: You won’t see timestamps in all of these transformations due to editing purposes to make these images fit into a specific size. Don’t worry, I have the time stamps. I’m the only one that really needs to see them.
1st Place: 90-Day Challenge Winner
Yes, this cocky sonofabitch actually made his name “90-Day Challenge Winner” and actually won.
I am simply dumbfounded.
90 Days. This guy did this in 90 Days! He was traveling toward the end of the 90-Day Challenge and had to make it work to get his submission in so the image on the very left bottom is actually 9 days earlier (Dec. 6 vs Dec. 15) than the final submissions (to the right).
He was already pretty jacked, but look at how well he leaned out. Chiseled abs, visible veins, shoulders capped, and “love handles” gone!
This is undeniable, on the criteria of “transformation” you cannot argue he did not transform the most from dad-bod to chad God. This was done naturally, for those who will question that, no offense to him, but if he was blasting gear he would have a distinctly different look (water retention, vascularity, and site-specific growth).
I question whether this was legit for weeks, literally, but upon further investigation, self-experience, and other bodybuilders’ eyes, it’s real.
2nd Place: Cornstacker
Where do I start? Love Handles → gone. Waistline visibly lost inches. Visible abs. Boulder shoulders. Dorito Back. Posture → Improved.
Short and sweet, that’s all you need to hear.
3rd Place: Josh Centers
Josh, the dude really crushed it! Look at all the changes. Visible abs, an overall chiseled physique, and noticeable muscle gain in his chest, shoulders, back, and more. Couldn’t be happier with this transformation.
Stats directly from him: “On September 15th, I weighed 187.3 pounds with 24.3% body fat. Yesterday, I weighed at 166.8 pounds and 19.8% body fat.”
PS, this is not 19.8% body fat, this is far closer to 12%, Josh just has some loose skin, also another reason I don’t use scans and simply use eyeballs and mirrors—all that matters is how you look, not what some machine says.
4th Place: BowTiedCoffee
I’m sure many of you (if not all) have seen this transformation on my Twitter feed. Coffee has made some really impressive progress - SUBSTANTIALLY in his leg development: Glutes, Quads, Hamstrings, Adductors, the whole lot.
Not only there, but his shoulders are CAPPED! Triceps, Chest, and Abs all filled out nicely.
5th Place: BowTiedGarden
Do You See What I See???? His back literally turned into a Dorito (one of the biggest goals of any Bodybuilder), and the width difference is immaculate. His waist slimmed down, his shoulders blew up and he really chiseled his overall physique.
I am excited to see what he does this year (next challenge even maybe, Mr. Garden?)
Honorary Mention: Dr. Huckabee
Dr. Huckabee is extremely impressive. This man turned 61 in the middle of this competition, read his comments here:
“This is late but working all week. Best results I’ve ever had in 3 months. Wished I had this knowledge when younger. Lost 7 pounds. But never worked back as much. Posture improved. I turned 61 halfway thru the program. Looking forward to the next round.”
This man should be your goal, this is what is possible as we enter our 60s. He looks better than 99.999999% of 60-year-olds.
Winners:
So, on this note, and the reason this was delayed, contact me via email, Twitter, or whatever, I have money to give you.
The top 2 haven’t messaged me back, so please see this and do so.
What’s Next?
Well, it seems these competitions are in extremely high-demand, so instead of waiting we will run another one in a month—this time, the winner is getting my favorite piece of home gym equipment, or the cash equivalent if not possible.
Honestly, my goal is to be able to give a car or some shit in the future as the Substack and brand grows → I have so much fun with these and it seems to really motivate you all when competition is in place.
The date I am aiming for is February 11th until May 12, reason is very, very simple, you will go into beach season in impeccable shape.
Oh, and another small item, I have another program that will drop for this competition:
It will be the 3-way split which is extremely accessible for both beginners and advanced trainees, and different from most traditional programs. Again, the price of the 4 programs I have planned to release this year are the price of the Substack, never additional.
I’m giving myself time before the next one to set up better systems, this time went better than the last, but still, some kinks to iron out for support.
That said, all submissions were incredible and I’m proud of you all, expect an email soon.
I am back from dying of whatever stomach virus I had, so be ready for the next post which addresses an important concept of exercise selection: Stimulus to Fatigue Ratio.
Anyway, off to our final ultrasound, you all have a fantastic day.

Congrats to everyone, thanks Ox for doing these, so much fun!
fantastic returns.
curious which specific programming+nutrition folks like 1st Place were doing to lean out so nicely (losing love handles especially).
extra impressive that folks were leaning down *in Winter*. peak holiday nutritional hazards, and yall still had dramatic body composition improvements!
