Getting better at the actual movements is such a great point, especially when it comes to plateauing after noobie gains. Training a lot of high school kids who plateau on their heavy compounds around their sophomore/junior year (if they’ve been lifting since middle school) has made me realize how much the form goes into it. The problem is they’re rarely taught good form, they’re just given weights. So their body is going to progress to a certain extent (because the body is incredible), but the kids who do not get the form down ALWAYS plateau from what I have seen. A few simple form or mobility fixes and boom they’re back to making progress

Thanks fellas (finally catching up on these). I think you have to be a bit of a masochist to be able to push yourself "through failure" each and every set. Agree with Ox, some folks just can't get there mentally. I love it.
