As we know, all changes within the body are influenced through “Calories In vs. Calories Out, or the Law of Thermodynamics.

If our goal is weight gain (muscle growth), we need more calories in than calories out since muscle gain is an expensive process energy/calorie-wise and we need excess to give the body the building blocks it needs to build muscle.
